Description

CASA of Ocean County recognizes the problem of child abuse and neglect and is committed to helping its victims; the children living in our communities. Child abuse hurts children physically, mentally, and emotionally at an immeasurable loss to society.

Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of Ocean County recruits, trains, supports and supervises community volunteers that advocate for children who have been removed from their home due to neglect or abuse.

CASA volunteers ensure children’s best interest remain the priority while working toward establishing a safe, stable, and permanent home for each child served. Volunteers improve the quality of information presented to the Court by serving as an independent set of eyes and ears for the Judge. CASA is actively recruiting program volunteers to join our upcoming training course. If you would like more information, please call our office and speak to Kelly Servodio, Director of Programs.
