Who We Are
Whitesbog Preservation Trust was founded 35 years ago by concerned citizens who did not want to see the historic village continue in slow decline. Slowly raising funds through grants, fundraising events and private donations, The Trust has restored each building one by one, cleaned the blueberry fields and gardens, created museum exhibits in the buildings and hosted public and educational events for the community.
What We Do
Whitesbog Historic Village engages visitors, volunteers and members in experiencing and learning about the early 1900's cranberry farm, birthplace of blueberries and village for seasonal workers in the Pinelands. We have trails, gardens, museums, a General Store and public programs throughout the year, a tractor club, landscape crew, building and restoration committee and Living History reenactors, educators and outreach helpers. We rely on volunteers for all of our work.
