21 Plus, Inc Mission Statement: 21 Plus, Inc. will provide diversified opportunities to enhance the quality of life for people with disabilities through a strategic plan. In 1979, a group of parents convened with a common concern – the absence of adequate day programs for their children with developmental disabilities after they complete high school. They established an organization to provide community-based programs for these individuals. Today our services have grown to include residential services, adult training centers and supported employment throughout the Ocean County area. Over the past thirty years, 21 Plus has expanded its services to include eleven group homes, four apartments, an employment program and two Adult Training Centers. This continuum of opportunities allows people to access our programs based on their individual skill level and motivation. In 2009, 21 Plus expanded its mission to include Family Support Services for people of all ages with disabilities.
