Who We Are
The Peoples Pantry started in November 2012 immediately after Super Storm Sandy devastated this community. The pantry was a hurricane relief center that provided food, toiletries, cleaning products, building products and even mental health services. The following year the Peoples Pantry became a hunger relief center. The pantry is a supermarket style and the clients shop in a dignified manner once per month.
What We Do
The Peoples Pantry provides emergency food in a respectful environment to Ocean County residents who suffer from food insecurity.
