FARE?s mission is to ensure the safety and inclusion of individuals with food allergies while relentlessly seeking a cure. The organization will accomplish this by: ? Funding world-class research that advances treatment and understanding, ? Providing evidence-based education and resources, ? Undertaking advocacy at all levels of government, and ? The nation?s two leading food allergy organizations, The Food Allergy Initiative (FAI) and the Food Allergy & Anaphylaxis Network (FAAN), have united to advance a cure and promote education for food allergy, a severe and potentially life-threatening disease. The merger combines FAAN?s expertise as the most trusted source of information, programs, and resources related to food allergy and anaphylaxis with FAI?s leadership as the world?s largest private source of funding for food allergy research. The new organization will be known as Food Allergy Research and Education (FARE).
