Who We Are

We are an independent branch of government constitutionally entrusted with the fair and just resolution of disputes in order to preserve the rule of law and to protect the rights and liberties guaranteed by the Constitution and laws of the United States and this State

What We Do

The New Jersey Judiciary Volunteer Services Program is specially designed to support the mission of the court system: JUSTICE. Court volunteers participate in the delivery of quality court services -- helping to justly resolve disputes -- and promote the public's confidence in the judicial process. The Judiciary proudly recognizes the commitment and valuable contributions of thousands of court volunteers statewide. In complementing the work of paid Judiciary staff, court volunteers are vital in strengthening the court-community partnership. Explore our rewarding volunteer opportunities: Can you invest your talents to strengthen the court-community partnership? Are you concerned about the welfare of children? Are you interested in having a positive impact on crime in your neighborhood? Do you like living in a peaceful community? Are you able to give a few hours a week to assist court users? If you answered yes to any of the questions above, you are at the right place!
