Freehold Area Open Door, Inc.

In order to affirm the God-given dignity of all individuals, Open Door seeks to aid all the greater Freehold area residents in need and to encourage them to become self-sufficient.

Services include a food pantry which distributes non-perishable food to area residents at no charge. The client advocacy program and emergency fund assists residents facing eviction, utility shut-offs or uninsured medical expenses. Our After School Program helps children in Freehold Borough schools with their homework, computer and English skills. We created a scholarship program to assist these students when they graduate from high school and go on to college or vocational school. Our Social Worker has a network of referral resources.
