Who We Are
To have a core team of trained citizen volunteers that will strengthen and support Monmouth County's public health infrastructure and response capabilities in the event of an emergency or unforseen event.
What We Do
MRC units are community based and function as a way to locally organize and utilize volunteers - medical professionals and others - who want to donate their time and expertise to promote healthy living throughout the year and to prepare for and respond to emergencies. MRC volunteers supplement existing local emergency and public health resources. MRC volunteers include health practicioners, interpreters, chaplains, office workers, legal advisors and others who can fill vital support positions.
