The mission of The Arc, Ocean County Chapter, Inc. is to advocate, provide opportunities and supports necessary for all individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to be accepted and valued as citizens of the communities in which they choose to live, learn, work and play. The Arc, Ocean County Chapter values respect and inclusion for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in our community. We are a person first agency and help chart the path for our participants to follow their dreams both personally and professionally.
What We Do
The Arc, Ocean County Chapter offers a wide variety of programs and services to benefit the needs and interests of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families. We offer housing, job training, employment opportunities, transportation, behavioral, counseling, and medical support, family support and support coordination, recreation, and self-advocacy.
We work with the NJ Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD) and the NJ Department of Children and Families (DCF) as well as the Division of Vocational Rehabilitation Services (DVRS) and public or private school districts.
