Children's After School Enrichment Program

Responsible To: Afterschool Director
Schedule: Academic year 2018-2019, Monday – Thursday, 2:45-7:00 PM, minimum 1 day per week.
Qualifications: Minimum of eighteen years of age. Some experience working with children. Desire and ability to work with children.
General Responsibilities: Supervise children during youth program activities and assist Afterschool Director with implementation of daily program.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Spend each program day with children enrolled in the program.
- Assist children with homework as needed.
- Check that homework is complete and correct.
- Encourage reading during reading time.
- Be alert for matters that may affect child safety.
- Build positive relationships with the children.
- Encourage positive behavior.
- Set up and clean up facilities as required.
- Perform any other duties as required by the Afterschool Director to aid the program.
