Each volunteer teacher will teach a segment of the 3rd grade history program with three other volunteers. Third grade students from Ocean Township schools attend this program. We badly need a receptionist to work two hours on a Thursday evening. The receptionist answers the door and telephone, keeps simple records and directs visitors to the Tour Guide. The second and third Thursdays of each month are available. Lots of folks enjoy this job because of the people they meet. This requires 2 or 4 hours per month, 12 or 24 hours per year.

The receptionist meets and greets Museum visitors, assists them in signing into our guest book and introduces the visitors to the volunteers who are tour guides. The receptionist also keeps attendance records and assists with Museum store sales. Many of the receptionists meet their own friends who are visiting the Museum.
