S.A.C.K. (Supporting A Community with Kindness) is a concept, a movement, where soap sacks are donated to food pantries, homeless centers and transitional housing centers. The soap sacks are made with cotton yarn, which allow them to be used as washcloths as well.  S.A.C.K. is looking for folks to join us in knitting or crocheting a sack for soap to donate to groups and facilities in need. These handy sacks for soap only take minutes to create and will help our community in need keep clean and safe. Contact Stacy for the simple pattern here.

As the demand for food continues to rise during the Coronavirus crisis and soup kitchens and schools close we need your help.  You can host a food drive right from your home with your friends, coworkers and family. Healthy donors encouraged to book an appointment for the weeks ahead, Thanks to the many who gave blood and scheduled upcoming appointments over the past couple of weeks, the American Red Cross has been able to meet immediate patient needs. During this uncertain time, we encourage individuals to keep scheduled blood, platelet or AB Elite plasma donation appointments and to make new donation appointments for the weeks ahead to ensure a stable supply throughout this pandemic.

In response to the quickly developing nature of current events amid the spread of COVID-19, Fulfill will be packing Crisis Relief boxes in Neptune. 

Fulfill is now focusing all of our efforts on ensuring that those in need have food in the wake of school closings and home sheltering.

We are practicing social distancing (6 Feet), using gloves, sanitizing, etc.

To register as a possible volunteer in the state of NJ for a variety of needs, please  complete the form here on HelpNJNow (HNJN).  In order to ensure the safety of the clients our nonprofits serve, their staffs, and other volunteers, a background check is required of all volunteers.  Once you have completed registration on HNJN, you will be sent information on how to complete the background check with Sterling Volunteers
