The mission of Coastal Communities springs from the overarching goal of the Family Success Center model, which seeks to prevent child maltreatment by providing individuals and families with information, support, and resources that help increase the stability, health and well-being of themselves and their children. Established as a 501(c) (3) non-profit in 2004, Coastal Communities, formerly Long Branch Concordance, arose from a collaborative group of people, agencies and organizations dedicated to creating a healthy and sustainable environment for children in the greater Long Branch area. Since its inception, the agency has provided a welcoming, homelike space where people seeking a wide range of skills [opportunities] can connect with programs that build life skills and healthy living literacy, better equipping families to reason responsibly in their day-to-day lives. We strive to empower mothers and fathers by providing them with the tools and environment that address the unique concerns of their families and help them to grow stronger relationships with their children.
