Ocean County COAD

OCCOAD is a countywide consortium coordinating agency formed with the purpose of bringing together organizations which provide services in times of disaster in order to foster more effective preparedness, response, and disaster recovery planning throughout Ocean County, New Jersey. This is done by enhancing planning, training and communication between organizations which are committed to serving the community in disaster mitigation, response and recovery while recognizing county, state and national organizations active in disaster assistance.

OCCOAD’s mission is to foster more effective service to people affected by disasters through coordinating and planning efforts with many community organizations responding to disaster by supporting and facilitating the delivery of disaster services through their members by developing partnerships in disaster response and facilitating training and education related to disaster events.
