Maryville Inc.

Maryville Inc. was founded in 1949 by Father A. Bennett Conway, a Roman Catholic priest, who began by providing care and treatment for alcoholic men free of charge. In the 1960's, women began to be admitted, and the combined treatment approach was instituted, to serve those with addictions to both drugs and alcohol. Maryville Inc. remained completely self-supporting until the 1970's, at which time Maryville Inc. became non-sectarian and established contracts with the state, several counties, and United Ways. 97% of Maryville Inc. clients are publicly funded.

Maryville Inc. is a 501c3 corporation providing comprehensive high quality, low cost addiction detoxification, short term, intensive outpatient, outpatient and co-occurring disease treatment and recovery services for individuals and families affected by the disease of addiction.
