Who We Are
Formed within months of Superstorm Sandy, the OCLTRG which has been operational since November 2012, is an alliance of community leaders representing community based, faith based, nonprofit, private sector and government organizations who have committed to working collaboratively, streamlining and leveraging limited resources to ensure that impacted households fully recover from the devastating impact of the storm, repair and rebuild their homes and restore the communities.
What We Do
The mission of the Ocean County Long Term Recovery Group (OCLTRG) is to strengthen and streamline disaster coordination in Ocean County by sharing information, facilitating resident access to and dispersal of resources and services, coordinating recovery efforts with Federal, State and local authorities and agencies, coordinating volunteer activities and resources and jointly resolving cases with disaster recovery needs.
