Who We Are
Harold Daley Post #1333, VFW of Asbury Park, is located in an historic armory building used to deploy military personnel throughout the great World Wars. Today, the building provides critical social interaction, support services, a hall available to the public for education and/or recreation, and a World War II scale museum and gallery featuring dioramas, die-cast models and memorabilia. Volunteers are needed to help staff the location, answer phones, schedule social groups, and other administrative duties during open hours. Meetings for veterans are held the second and fourth Tuesday of each month, where members and veterans are welcome to attend.
What We Do
The Harold Daley Post #1333 is the only VFW post in existence to use a former armory building. An historic property, the building was used to deploy military personnel through WWI and WWII, as well as to house and train military personnel for several decades.
