Who We Are
Our Mission: The Township of Ocean Historical Museum is a cultural resource that invites the residents of New Jersey to learn and respect our regional past. It is our mission to collect, preserve and exhibit the the records, memorabilia and artifacts that tell the story of Ocean Township, its surrounding communities, The State of New Jersey and in that telling generate understanding, appreciation and enjoyment.
What We Do
We are a local history serving primarily the New Jersey shore. Since the entire area from Sandy Hook to the Shark River was once Ocean Township We consider ourselves a Museum for all of Monmouth County. The Museum is an all volunteer organization.
