Who We Are

The Monmouth County Diversity Alliance was created to develop relationships with Faith-Based and Community Organizations, Businesses, and Government entities to bridge the gap of diversity issues that impact Monmouth and Ocean Counties. • To utilize the base of partners and members to advocate, support and develop solutions to barriers to services for all members of the community. • To develop and utilize existing educational material that informs and empowers both youth and adults. By providing resources, programs and services that may be available to them. • To create opportunities by providing mentorship programs with business partners for the development of job skills, secondary educational advancement and trade programs AREAS OF FOCUS • Mental Health Awareness & Healthcare • Affordable and Fair Housing • Mentorship •Arts and Culture

What We Do

MCDA organized a 3 day community celebration for the newly recognized federal holiday of Juneteenth. Day 1 -A business network mixer . Day 2 Juneteenth festival Both events Downtown Freehold. Day 3 A Blacktie Gala in Marlboro We educated all members of the community the importance of the holiday and the history of Juneteenth. Our focal points were History , Heritage and Culture Health issues in our community Recognize and honoring individuals that have made a significant contribution to their communities MCDA Partnered with local nonprofits and hosted our 1st Pre Thanksgiving Dinner feeding all who needed a warm meal. We are currently in collaboration with local government & educational agencies focusing on Stigma’s that hinders progress in society.
